Apple Dabble - all for naught? [not so fast ...]

I love this picture - s--tkickin' cycle boots with the Win-Logo sittin atop a PowerBook keyboard
Even before Apple announced the switch to Intel chips for the Mac, there was debate about the possibility (merits/demerits) of getting Windows OS to run on the Mac platform. I wrote about how this switch may impact our profession and came down on the side of 'this would be a good thing' inthat we could best serve the access technology of all our students and not just those with PC's. Well, it looks like someone has actually gotten Win XP to boot on an Intel Mac. According to the post - this is not by any means a load-in-go installation and likely involved quite a bit of hacking. Apparently the committee is reviewing his work ...

Should this be for real it might just be the first leg towards Macs running [or better yet dual-booting] Windows. Imagine the fun we could have in the world of Access Tech!
