ATC Mouse - Carpal Tunnel Be Gone
I don't know about Carpal Tunnel having met its match - but this handy gadget make help alleviate some RSI. The mouse remains stationary and uses pitch & yaw instead of motion to move the cursor about on the screen much like a joystick. I'd have to try one for myself before deciding upon the value.
Repetitive Strain Injury is caused more by poor positioning than keyboarding. Overusing the mouse does not help either. The MIT Adaptive Technology for Information and Computing [ATIC] maintains a very good site of information on RSI. Apparently this is a major issue among the students at MIT.
