Flexible Electronic Paper Display or 'Wow - they actually did it!'

E Ink has just announced a breakthrough in flexible electronic paper displays. The new display which has a 100DPI resolution and is only 300 microns thick has the potential of truely changing the way we read our information. [courtesy of /.]

Yet another reason I prefer slashdot over other tech-blogs - they cut right to the good stuff and avoid fluff. Similar info from other sources showed up on my RSS reader but every other site was commercial and full of annoying ads and pop-ups. Not so with slashdot - and as a bonus I have a new site to check.

I feel a sense of cutting-edge as I saw an E-Ink demo version [in .pdf] of this tech at the Open eBook conference this past Spring.
