Learning Technologies Affecting Design of Learning Spaces [Educause 2005]

Courtesy of the Educause RSS feed comes some of the best session from the 2005 conference. This one, by Stephen Clarke, Head of eLearning, University of Birmingham, caught my ear and is worth a listen:

Increasing use of mobile devices and wireless networks will require new models of learning and teaching. Early indications suggest these technologies will benefit learners by supporting individualised learning, as devices become smaller, quicker, cheaper and easier to use. However, learning content and standards need to be developed for these newer platforms, and institutions require guidelines on the design of physical learning spaces.
